I am a self-taught painter and designer.

It is an honor and a deep privilege to be able to communicate through color, sound, and self-expression and embody a focal point of inspiration, wisdom, and pivotal change. My preferred vessels are acrylic on paper and canvas.

I am passionate about exploring the themes of self-identity, the interior world, and body positivity in my art. There is an ethereal connection to the soul's journey between life and death; the very cycle of rebirth that is depicted in Alpha She. The interior world represents the truth and rawness of life when it surfaces. In that light, the awe of our greatness as an individual blossoms into the beauty within and without; as above so below revealed. The mirror within ourselves is as resilient as a cat with nine lives.

Through embedded symbolism, geometric channeling, and the unity of light and dark, I have come to see the human form as a celebration of the divine feminine and sacred masculine through a lens of integrated consciousness. The Soulouette, a five-pointed star with concave lines is a transmission of ancient remembrance, which takes my observer on a journey through the micro- and macro-cosmic vessels in nature - the soul portrayed as vast as the galaxy and as minute as the atom. 

I now see that inflection points of struggle can be transmuted into triumphant chapters of our personal stories. Many of the decisions I’ve made in adulthood, such as to painstakingly navigate the capitalistic corporate world, were not for nothing. I’ve raised two beautiful children, Magnus, 15, and Anja, 7, with the help of my immediate family’s unconditional devotion. In the wake of self-knowledge and healing, recognizing that my shadow - whether inherited through ancestral pain, my nonlinear upbringing, or embracing my dark feminine traits - are all beautiful gifts I am continuing to decode by way of my art. 

With absolute power comes absolute darkness, converging into the spiral of where all sides coexist. Rumi once said, “The wound is the place where light enters.”

My personal enlightenment broke through by way of absolute surrender and faith in my visions. I was not the delusion my demons in the form of insecurities once whispered. My visions of these ethereal cloud-shaped humanoids are not just apophenia (ability to uncover obscure patterns), but rather a key the universe granted to me, calling my name since the day I stepped on the creative stage. "Enlightenment is awakening from the dream of the character one plays in their journey of life", Shakespeare said. Realizing that life’s twists, turns, and trauma were merely the mural theater I was born to write coming into this life, I have awakened through my expression of the Soulouette figure. 

The core philosophy of Soulouette was inspired by my father, who in 2016 passed on into new life, energetically handing down his life codes to me and my children. My iridescent stripes and patchwork patterns, in their floral, marine, and animalistic forms, are inspired by my children who I allow to grow and roam wild and free between their darkness and light. Non-dualist master Nisargadatta Maharaj once said, “Wisdom is knowing I am nothing, love is knowing I am everything, and between the two my life moves.” My childrens’ limitless transformation, despite the disheartening challenges of 2020, inspires me to create relentlessly in a world where self-worth must be painstakingly earned and manifested, all while deafening oneself to the voices of self-defeat.

To fulfill my highest reality would be to unify the story of the Soulouette in its infinite forms in all of my paintings. The Soulouette's omnipresence and viral nature would activate the inherent and expressive creativity in those thirsty for inspiration and help them transmute trauma the way art has for me. With every stroke of color and mix of paint onto my canvas, I hereby command ripples within spirals to heal the mind, body, and souls of all those who wish to see.

From Kobe, Japan, DJ/Producer Mika Kitten has been interacting with music since the age of 3 when she began piano lessons. As a DJ, Mika started her journey spinning trance, but now focuses on techno, embodying a style that is melodiously hypnotic to layer and permeate her sets.

Mika’s earliest parties in the 2010s featured highly sought-after international talent and defined the global standard of clubbing in Osaka’s nightlife scene. Her success earned a feature on the main stage line-up at Sweden and Finland’s infamous Monday Bar Cruise and the headliner ticket at Los Angeles’ Anime Expo. She has since garnered a highly credible list of accolades that includes successful events at Dubai’s Superclub SohoGarden, the Resort Beach Club Playa Nomade on the man-made island of Palm Jumeirah in the Persian Gulf, a cruising party in Dubai Marina aboard the luxurious Desert Rose 1, as well as at select clubs around the world: New York, Switzerland, France, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Cambodia and more.

In 2015 Mika teamed up with Koichi Sato to begin producing her own tracks, overseeing the melodies, chord progressions, and sequencing. Record labels from around the world, including Italy, Spain, Russia, Germany, Dubai, and the US, have released her tracks and remixes. 

Mika’s most notable releases are: Ken Ishii’s Twitched that won a remix contest sponsored by Barcelona imprint Different Is Different Records. Xuclar EP / Reload Records (Berlin) climbed to 62 on the Beatport Techno Top 100. Noor / Pachira EP / YOMO Records (Berlin) continues to climb the Beatport charts, reaching 29th in Melodic House & Techno and 44th in Techno Top 100. Sunset Drive / Digital Records (California) has 2 million streams on SoundCloud. Mojave / Digital Records (California) has 1 million streams on SoundCloud. Shani EP / Neu Gravity (Turkey) is rated 8/10 in a Mixmag feature.
